Global Health Track

There are excellent and ever expanding elective opportunities for those interested in Global Medicine here at the University of Florida. The Department of Medicine has recently added several faculty with research interests in this area and have created a Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Medicine. As home to the Emerging Pathogens Institute, the University of Florida provides the ideal combination of research and clinical excellence required to prepare the next generation of physicians to make an impact not only on their local community, but the world.

The mission of the UF Medicine Residency Global Health Track is to train the next generation of medicine physicians to be effective leaders in global health and proficient clinicians to those in undeserved, vulnerable, and resource-restricted settings both locally and globally.
