I have the privilege of serving as the Ambulatory Chief Resident. I collaborate with faculty members across the medical subspecialties to provide residents with a personalized ambulatory curriculum. Our program has outpatient continuity clinic sites at Shands Medical Plaza, the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, and UF Health Tower Hill. Each clinical site offers unique patient care experiences for our housestaff. I also develop the evidence based medicine curriculum and encourage residents to establish a standardized approach to the evaluation of clinical trials. This is accomplished through large-group didactics and small group discussions. Our group of chief residents looks forward to fostering the growth of the residency program as UF Health rapidly expands. We will maintain the consistent quality educational experience that our program has delivered to countless residents. I encourage all applicants to visit Gainesville and experience the collegial environment and rigorous clinical training that our program has to offer.
